Corrales Arts & Cultural District

Corrales MainStreet has been working hard toward becoming a State Authorized Arts and Cultural District. This is an opportunity for all our arts and cultural organizations and businesses to collaborate to support an economically vibrant cultural district. We are in the final phase of this process and received funds from New Mexico Main Street to complete the final piece for this process, the Arts and Cultural Economic Development Plan which will help guide our work and provide access to future funding sources to complete project in the district.

We are starting this planning process early summer 2023. We are working with Strata Design and Groundworks Studio to develop the plan. Both firms are experienced with the MainStreet process. We will be having many opportunities for community input and engagement throughout the summer. Look for future activities and dates here on our web page, in the Corrales Comment and the Corrales MainStreet News!

Upcoming Activities

We will also be making appearances at the Growers Market and upcoming community events to get community feedback and learn more about what is important to residents, businesses and visitors!

Look for QR codes around town on posters and postcards to participate in short surveys about art and culture in Corrales. We value your input. Click Here for more info on New Mexico Arts and Cultural Districts and the Cultural Economic Development Plan!
